These are the 3 basic principles of Christian stability. These principles are simple, yet powerful when put into practice.

  • Principle 1 (Repentance) Repent of your sins publicly by obedience to the command for water baptism; receiving salvation by the grace of God alone, through faith in the finished work of Jesus at the Cross. Take responsibility for the wrong you did before you were saved, even if you can't correct it all. And continue to acknowledge your sins and weaknesses before God so he can strengthen your efforts to overcome them. Deliverance will never come to those who live in denial (Acts 2:38 / 1 John 1:8-9 / Proverbs 28:13)

  • Principle 2 (Separation) Separate yourself from every person, place, and thing, related to your former life of sin. As you grow in the Lord, you will also grow in personal holiness; this means you will experience an ongoing separation from the world (2 Corinthians 6:14-17 / 1 Corinthians 11:13 / 1 John 2:15).

  • Principle 3 (church membership) Join a church that not only believes the bible, but teaches it as well. Attend faithfully, and participate whole-heartedly (Hebrews 10:25 / Acts 2:44,47).

The 4 reasons to belong to a local church:

  1. It provides me with a spiritual family in which to experience God's Love.

  2. It gives me a place to discover my gifts and use them in ministry.

  3. It places me under the protection of Godly leaders.

  4. It gives me the accountability I need to grow.

These principles changed my life, and they can change yours too!
