When we encounter problems, it will either push us away from God or closer to him; it all depends on how we respond to our problems. We will either blame God or somebody for our trouble, or we will take responsibility for our own destiny by acknowledging that God is our only hope.
Our problems can take many different forms. Relationships are undoubtedly the toughest...especially the ones you can't just walk away from. God permits these challenges, not to harm us but to present us with opportunities for spiritual growth. I know it's discouraging when God seems absent from these situations; but God is with us even when we don't feel him. It's when we don't feel him that he's trying to stretch our faith. It's not the faith you feel that's important, but rather the faith you have the courage to act on!
So, if your in a season of trouble, stay the course. We are told in Galatians 6:9, "Don't get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up."
